Gardens:
Most gardens in the Parish are mature and some benefit from ponds, nest sites and artificial feeding. We are fortunate in still having House Martins and Swallows using eaves and outbuildings as nest sites and a small Rookery on Glen Road to provide the noisy activity in spring typically associated with English villages. Gardens also provide nectar sources attractive to butterflies, bees and moths all of which are still relatively plentiful in the Parish.
